Is Your AI-Built App Ready To Launch? A Twelve-Question Check
3 min read

Apps built with AI tools can look finished long before they are ready for strangers. A short self-check shows where the gaps are, so you spend the next hour on the right thing.
The free Launch Score asks twelve questions about your app. Each gets a yes, not sure or no answer. It takes about two minutes, and the page says there is no email to enter.
What The Questions Cover
They ask whether a new user can sign up without help, whether you have tested sign-up and checkout on a real phone, whether you have run a full test purchase, and whether password reset works and the email arrives. They also ask whether error messages say what to do next, whether the homepage says who it is for in one line, and whether the first page loads in about three seconds on mobile data.
The rest cover whether someone outside your team used the product this month, whether pricing is visible before sign-up, whether privacy policy and terms are linked in the footer, whether each page has its own title and description, and whether broken links land on a helpful 404 page.
Answer Only What You Have Checked
A "not sure" is an honest answer and a to-do item. The score is a self-assessment. It reflects what you tell it, and it does not test your app.
Turn Gaps Into Tasks
A fictional example: someone answers yes to the homepage and no to testing checkout on a phone. The next task is clear: run a purchase on a real phone and write down what happens.
Fix The Ones That Block People First
Failures in sign-up, password reset and payment stop users completely, so they come before wording or footer links. Then work through the rest.
Test The Fixes
After each fix, repeat the step as a new user would. If you want someone else to test, the score is a reasonable place to decide which journey to hand over.
Take The Check
Open the Launch Score, answer the twelve questions and write down every "no" and "not sure" as a task.
